The 45th Reunion Team gave a lot of thought to the format and timing of the Reunion. While the 42nd Reunion was planned on very short notice, it was successful because it was informal and it occurred on a date that didn't conflict with when most folks might have some other obligation.

For the 45th Reunion we chose to not have dinner as part of the event as it was felt that aspect was too confining - that instead of sitting at a table of 8 or 10 for half of the night, all of your time at the Reunion will be mingling with old friends. So, you'll have to plan dinner on your own either before you arrive or at one the restaurants in the hotel during the night. We'll offer minimal nibbles during the Reunion itself.

We chose September 11 for the Reunion as it doesn't conflict with summer or Labor Day and is at a time of the year when those who are traveling a distance to the Reunion can tie it into a vacation, etc. while there is still good weather.

The location is easy to find: just 1/2 a mile north from NQHS on Hancock Street, on the Quincy side of the Neponset River. For those not familiar with the area, this was where the old Dolphin was located, or perhaps you remember the Aquarius Lounge...

Dinner: You are on your own for dinner. There will be a cash bar at the Reunion itself and minimal nibbles.

Accommodations: The Adams Inn is offering a special room rate for us, so when making a reservation use Group Code CGNQ65. There's another reunion at the Adams Inn the same night [NQHS Class of '55] so if you're planning on staying here, book your room early!

Cost: There is no charge for attending the 45th Reunion for Classmates, Friends or for Guests either. Several of our Classmates have offered to foot all of the costs for the facilities, this website and everything else. You'll be responsible only for your own arranged dinner and the cash bar at the Reunion. You must register before September 5, 2010 to receive the free admission. Those who have not registered by then will be charged $15/per person at the door.

Tickets: We don't know now what the attendance might be and there's a slight chance we could reach the capacity of the facility. Registration is strongly recommended as you will be guaranteed admittance - should we get close to capacity we'll issue tickets to those who have registered.

Also, it's very important for planning purposes that we know how many people are coming and who they are. Last-minute deciders will be charged at the door as outlined above in 'Cost' and they will not appear on the list of attendees or have a name tag - so please register on time!
